This is THE most honest album from Brandy. She literally grew up before our eyes, but musically this record is mixture of every “Brandy era” there is. She changed her signature a little bit bc too many newer artists have been using her technique that she mastered with Darkchikd and finally gave us a Brandy who’s been well hidden for a long time. I love honest music and honest storytelling artists whose not afraid to talk a lil ish or just spill the tea musically!! Job well done Bran!!

  • Her Best Work In A Long Time

No two Brandy albums are alike and yet they all come from the same magnificent voice. Those who would prefer her to stay a certain will be left left feeling angry on B7 ,while those who truly pay attention , realize the foundations she laid for over 20 years. B7 is a journey from Brandys most honest and authentic place musically. Where some will say computers, a trained ear will be astonished at the vocal control. Brandy truly has no peers for which to compare her and she demonstrates this yet again with a body of work that will continue to be a standard for those she inspires in R&B. From the lyrics and creative runs of Lucid Dreams and Borderline to the yearning and resolve of No Tomorrow and Bye Bipolar. 46 mins is just not enough. One can only pray there’s a deluxe version or a release of all songs uncut. I would gladly listen to 7 min versions of all of this! It’s hard to believe she’s only on her 7th album. Give us more, Queen!

This is a good album PERIODT‼️ People don’t understand that artist grow. So brandy isn’t going to have the same sound that she had in previous albums.

Didn't she say not long ago that she was working on an album that would have similar sounds to her AMAZING single Beggin' and Pleadin'? I love Brandy but this is just the same non-melodic R&B that's she's been doing for a while. Couldn't make it all the way through.

Brandy’s best work yet!!! I had to listen to the album a few times to fully appreciate how beautiful each song is and Brandy’s voice sounds as smooth and strong and mature as ever. This album will be on my playlist for awhile.
