This is good!
I love everything they do.
The original version was bad, but this is somehow even worse. I wish Weezer would stop trying to make this song happen. It bombed live at Boston Calling, and this continues a weird feud between Rivers Cuomo and his band's fanbase. He seems hell-bent on making mediocre pop rock while the demand is for genuine punk rock.
This is roughly 120% more palatable than the original Panic! At the Douche-co mix. They seem to have a knack for releasing something over-polished then coming back through and bringing it back to Earth. Imagine how great Weezer would sound if they wrote sugar pop songs and played them with jagged punk rock guitars? Oh wait...

I liked the original version but this removes all the unnecessary Over-producing into a simple well written weezer classic

It's whatever I guess
Much better than original
No electronic music so it sounds more like weezer
Enough with the poppy stuff, Rivers! Get back to those Blue/Pinkerton roots, and to hell with the mainstream. Where is the authenticity? I love Weezer, but this sounds like a Katy Perry cover.
