  • Favorite Fusion

This is my favorite Fusion album of the last 16 years. I call it "fusion" because of the way Rit melds many styles and, along with his cohorts, comes out with a fresh take on many of Jobim's wonderful melodies!

This is a cd I previosly owned and Ithink it grew legs and walked away which is kind of understandable because if someone would of asked to borrow it I would of kindly stated "no my brother-you have to get your own.I do plan on re-purchasing it.T be honest with you I wont be purchasing it from iTunes because you guys have this practice of leaving some songs off of the album. For example what happened to stone flower.I had to purchase awb's soul searching from somewhere else because you guys cut two of the songs from that album(by the way I only paid $6.99 and it had all of the songs.I love iTunes and I want to keep dealing with you folks. You might want to concider the customer and step up your game because I heard through the grapevine that other companies are jumping on the band wagon and doing what you guys are doing.Peace Noland (jazz &blues lover).

This is JAZZ. Jazz is an expression of music. THese are interpretations of Jobim's Beautiful creations with a twist. Hence, the name, Twist of Jobim... it's a great album to listen to with really good interpretations of classics. A Good Buy!

Wow, this is smooth-jazz fluff, not bossa-nova. However, the i-tunes review, is for a completely different album. Make sure you listen to these cuts before you purchase.

This album is practically perfect... the compositions, both old and new, are perfect for relaxing on lazy afternoons. Every piece is just as beautiful as the next (my favorite is number 1). I would suggest buying the whole album; it's a great addition to any jazz lover's collection.
